Privacy

The short version: this site collects nothing about you.

Calculator inputs

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The values you enter are not sent to any server, stored or logged by this site.

Analytics, cookies and accounts

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are used: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, how the visitor arrived, and clicks on links to other sites. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to do this, and IP addresses are anonymized. The numbers typed into the calculator are never sent to Google Analytics or anywhere else. There is no advertising, no forms and no accounts. Fonts are bundled with the site, so no third-party font service is contacted. Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout turns Google Analytics off.

Browser storage

If you switch between the light and dark theme, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the page remembers it. It never leaves your device, and clearing site data removes it.

Hosting

The site is served as static files through a content delivery network. Like any web host, the network may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested in order to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. This site does not receive or use that data for tracking.

Changes

If anything else is collected in future, this page will be updated first to say what is collected and why.
